Hydrangea pan. 'Tardiva'
Hydrangea paniculata 'Tardiva' is a broad, bushy, upright panicle hydrangea. This panicle hydrangea flowers very late, namely from the end of August with cone-shaped creamy white flower panicles that bloom pink in the autumn. The leaves are narrow ovate, dark green, toothed and gray-green on the underside. This panicle hydrangea likes a position in full sun or filtered sunlight. It also flowers on perennial wood and can only be pruned back shortly after flowering to maintain a bushy shape. It prefers a slightly acidic moist soil, is particularly hardy, attracts butterflies and bees. Also decorative in autumn and can also be planted on the coast, because it is tolerant of sea wind.
