Euphorbia characias wulfenii, called spurge in English, is a robust architectural perennial with an upright, polishing habit and attractive gray-green lanceolate leaves and abundant green-yellow, chartreuse-colored flowers from May to October. this spurge prefers a position in full sun and prefers limy soil, but also tolerates neutral to slightly acidic soil. Euphorbia characias wulfenii is moderately to moderately hardy, can withstand some drought, is sea wind and salt tolerant and tolerates air pollution. In general, this spurge does not suffer from pests or diseases.
