Erysimum 'Bowles Mauve'

Erysimum "Bowles Mauve" (rock rocket, wallflower) is a short-lived evergreen semi-shrub with a bushy, upright shape. Wallflower has narrow, lance-shaped, gray-green leaves and blooms in favorable conditions from April to September with 2 cm large lilac pink to lilac purple scented flowers on upright flower stems. Erysimum likes a dry position in full sun, a neutral to calcareous, well-permeable, poor to moderately fertile soil. Muurbloem is sea wind tolerant and fairly hardy, but can use some winter protection in severe winters.
