Stokesia laevis 'Alba'

Stokesia laevis 'Alba' blooms with pure white flowers.

Plant this long-lived perennial in a warm spot in full sun or partial shade, but especially in a well-drained soil.

Very similar to cornflowers but not completely hardy. Wet feet are usually disastrous for this plant. Also covers the plant in severe frost.

Is semi-evergreen in mild winters. Partly due to the white flower color, Stokesia laevis 'Alba' can be combined very well in the border with other perennials.
