Aster dumosus "Professor Anton Kippenberg" is often also called aster novi belgii "professor anton kippenberg", it is a low and compact autumn aster with smooth, lanceolate, medium green leaves. This autumn flower blooms abundantly from August to October with violet-blue daisy-like flowers with a yellow center. It likes a sunny position and a fertile, well-drained, slightly moist soil.
