Pachysandra terminalis "Variegata", also called variegated shade herb, is a small, low-growing and carpet-forming shrub. This evergreen, popular ground cover has glossy, almost diamond-shaped, variegated leaves. They are medium green in color, with an ivory leaf margin. Pachysandra "variegata" flowers from April to May, with fragrant, small, white flowers, in terminal corymbs. This shade herb likes a place in partial shade or deep shade and does well in any soil that is not too calcareous.
