Forsythia x intermedia 'Spectabilis' has a vase-shaped and slightly weeping shape, it blooms profusely with bright yellow to deep yellow flowers on the bare wood in March and April. The leaves are narrow and oval in shape, and toothed at the top. This forsythia is still one of the most popular varieties after more than a hundred years.
