Forsythia int. 'Lynwood'

Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood' has an upright and bushy shape. It blooms profusely with bright yellow to golden yellow flowers on the bare wood in March and April. The leaves are narrow and oval in shape, and strongly toothed at the top. They also hang from beautiful red stems. This forsythia likes a sunny position and does well in almost any well-drained soil. Pruning is best done immediately after flowering to ensure rejuvenation and profuse flowering. The Chinese bluebell is sea wind tolerant and can also handle air pollution.
