Deutzia ros. 'Campanulata'

Deutzia rosea 'campanulata', this bridal flower is a small, stocky deciduous shrub, with oblong, lanceolate, green, finely serrated leaves and pretty white bell-shaped flowers with a light pink tinge. This deutzia likes full sun and light shade, it does well in any moist soil from acidic to slightly calcareous. It is recommended to prune one third of the oldest branches back to the base every year after flowering to encourage rejuvenation. The plant is hardy, but protection against north and east winds is especially important in early spring to protect the flower buds.
