Cytisus 'Goldfinch'

Cytisus 'goldfinch' is a new, small, semi-evergreen broom variety with a compact upright, bushy growth, it flowers profusely with orange flowers at the end of May. This broom likes a position in full sun and prefers to grow in neutral to acidic soil. The cytisus 'goldfinch is good wind and sea wind tolerant and can therefore be planted in the coastal region. Pruning is done after flowering if desired. In the fall, green seed pods decorate this broom. The plant is also very resistant to air pollution, can be used as a solitary, accent plant in the garden or in public greenery.
