Lonicera jap. 'Halliana'

Lonicera japonica 'halliana' is a fairly popular semi-evergreen Japanese honeysuckle with a broad upright, vigorously climbing habit. It flowers from June to August with pleasantly fragrant white-yellow tubular flowers later in the fall followed by fleshy, glossy black berries. The leaves are also glossy and ovate, pointed and medium green to bright green in color. The underside of the leaf is downy hairy. This lonicera japonica does well in any well-drained humus-rich soil and likes a spot in partial shade. When placed in full sun, the base should be in the shade. It is moderate to good hardy, sea wind resistant and air pollution tolerant.
