Heuchera 'Chocolate Ruffles'

Heuchera 'chocolate ruffels' is a very attractive evergreen perennial with a compact, pol-forming habit and very beautiful chocolate brown serrated 9 lobed leaves. Heuchera chocolate ruffles flowers from May to July with small white flowers grouped on slender, upright stems. This plant likes a neutral, well-drained soil type and prefers a location in filtered sunlight or partial shade. It is hardy, drought resistant, disease resistant and has few problems with vermin. Heuchera 'chocolate ruffles' changes color during the growing season, the adult leaves take on a green-yellow orange hue with purple undersides and then evolve back to olive brown in autumn.
