Cortaderia sell. 'Rosea'

Cortaderia selloana 'Rosea', called pink pampas grass in Dutch, is an evergreen grass with an upright, pol-forming habit. The leaves are narrow, drooping, rough to the touch and colored medium green. Cortaderia 'rosea' blooms from August to October with decorative, silky, elongated pink flower panicles. The plant prefers a sunny position and fertile, drained soil. This dwarf pampas grass is fairly hardy but can certainly use some extra winter protection, especially in its young years. This graceful grass is well tolerated by drought, sea breeze and air pollution and is virtually free from diseases or pests.
