Pachysandra term. 'Green Sheen'

Pachysandra terminalis "Green Sheen", also called shadow herb in Dutch, is a small, low-growing and carpet-forming shrub. This evergreen, popular ground cover has glossy, oval and coarsely toothed leaves that are dark green in partial shade or shade and turn yellow-green in more sunny places. Pachysandra "green sheen" blooms from April to May with scented, small white flowers in terminal umbels. Pachysandra terminalis likes a position in partial shade or deep shade and does well in any soil that is not too limy. This plant is low maintenance, drought resistant, sea wind tolerant and attractive to bees, bumblebees and butterflies. Can handle a little more sun than "green carpet".
