Hosta 'Halcyon'

Hosta 'halcyon' is a class of hostas, this tardiana hybrid with a compact pol-forming habit has attractive, heart-shaped, strongly veined, blue-green leaves and blooms in June and July with lavender-gray bell-shaped flowers on long upright flower stems. Hosta 'Halcyon' prefers a position in partial shade or shade. It prefers fertile, well-drained and moist soil. This hosta is very hardy, tolerant of sea wind, tolerates air pollution reasonably well and is generally disease free. Often used in partial shade borders and Japanese gardens.
