Heucherella 'Quicksilver'

Heucherella 'quicksilver' is a cross between heuchera 'quilters joy and tiarella cordifolia var.collina' montrose selection. The result of this crossing is an attractive evergreen perennial with a compact, pol-forming habit and decorative heucera-like leaves that first turn red during the season, later green and finally bronze, each time with a silver metallic haze over it. This Heucheralla blooms from June to September with decorative white flower spikes. This plant prefers a neutral, well-drained soil type and prefers a position in filtered sunlight or partial shade. It is very hardy, disease resistant and has few problems with vermin.
