Geranium sang. 'Striatum'
Geranium sanguineum striatum is a deciduous pelargonium with a low-growing, ground-covering and clump-forming habit. The leaves of this cultivar are small, dark green and five to seven-lobed. This geranium blooms profusely from May to July with 3 4cm light pink flowers, which have dark pink veins. the plant prefers a position in full sun or light shade, but also in partial shade and is satisfied with any well-drained, not too fertile soil type. To prevent too much sowing and to stimulate re-flowering, it is advisable to cut back dead flowers and unsightly leaves during flowering. Cranesbill is hardy, tolerant to sea wind and resistant to air pollution.
