Aster dumosus 'Rosenvragenel' is often also called Aster novi belgii 'Rosenwezenel', it is a low and compact autumn aster with smooth, lance-shaped, medium green leaves. This autumn flower blooms abundantly from August to October with pink, semi-double daisy-like flowers. It likes a sunny position and fertile, well-drained, slightly moist soil. It is very hardy, attracts many butterflies, bees and insects, is sea wind tolerant and also tolerates air pollution well.
