Geranium oxon. 'Catherine Deneuve'

Geranium x oxonianum 'Catherine Deneuve' blooms with star-like, dark purple veined, magenta flowers.

A very special geranium, with 5 split petals.

The evergreen leaves are light green and can reach a height of 50cm. It is a vigorous perennial with excellent winter hardiness and also a good ground cover.

The flowers resemble Geranium x oxonianum f. thurstonianum but are darker in the center and the plant also grows taller.

This variety does not make many demands on the situation and the quality of the soil. Plant it in fertile but not soggy soil. Also tolerates calcareous soil.
