Rosa 'New Dawn'

Rosa "New Dawn" is a vigorous disease-resistant climbing rose that was produced around 1930 by h. A. Dreer was introduced. This climbing rose is firmly upright and has gray-green, slightly shiny leaves. It blooms in summer and autumn with medium-sized, semi-double, silver-pink to peach-colored flowers, which later turn pinkish-white. Rosa "New Dawn" prefers a position in the sun or partial shade and a slightly moist, but very well permeable soil. It does well in all soil types, but is still lime-loving. This rose is very hardy, tolerates sea wind and air pollution, attracts bees and insects, is resistant to disease and was the first rose to be patented at the time.
