Campanula poscharskyana

Campanula porscharskyana is a deciduous perennial with a low-growing, carpet-forming habit and heart-shaped, medium green to dark green serrated leaves. This bellflower blooms from June to August with abundant dark purple to violet blue star-shaped flowers. This campanula likes a position in full sun or partial shade and prefers a well-permeable normal to dry soil. The plant is hardy, reasonably to good sea wind tolerant, tolerates air pollution, attracts butterflies, bees and insects, but can suffer from mildew and rust in poor conditions and be attacked by snails.
