Physocarpus opulif. 'Little Joker'

Physocarpus opulifolius 'Little Joker' is a dwarf form with an upright, compact habit and small, thin, narrow, toothed leaves. The beautiful foliage changes from purple-orange with a hint of burgundy in summer to purple-green.

Blooms in umbels of flattened white-pink flowers.

The shrub remains decorative in winter, the bark exfoliates in beige to red-brown spots.

Can proliferate through foothills.
