Lonicera nitida 'Red Tips' has a more spreading growth and sprouts wine-red shoots in spring. The mature foliage is glossy green.
If it gets small white flowers in May/June, unless it is pruned as a hedge, it will not flower.
The small blue-black berries appear in late summer.
