Aucuba jap. 'Rozannie'

Aucuba japonica 'Rozannie' is a small evergreen ornamental shrub with a bushy habit. The dark green, leathery, lanceolate leaves are serrate at the terminal tip. This monoecious aucuba flowers in April and May with small burgundy red flowers and beautiful red berries follow after fertilization. This plant likes a position in partial shade or shade and an acid or neutral, well-drained soil. It is hardy, drought tolerant and tolerates sea wind and air pollution.
