Euphorbia lathyris

Euphorbia lathyris, called cross-leaf spurge or mole plant in Dutch, is an evergreen perennial with an upright growth habit and a clump-forming habit. The plant has elongated, lanceolate, dark green, leathery leaves and abundant yellow-green flowers from June to August. This cross-leaf spurge likes a position in full sun or partial shade and prefers a calcareous soil, but it also tolerates neutral to slightly acidic soil. Euphorbia lathyris is hardy, can withstand drought, is sea wind and salt tolerant and tolerates air pollution.
