Echinacea tennesseensis 'Rocky Top'

Echinacea tennesseensis is a rare species from the central part of the US state of Tennessee.

The big difference with the Echinacea purpurea is that the purple-pink petals are more upright around the copper-brown cone. The petals are also narrower and shorter and the plant has narrow linear leaves.

Flower rotates with the sun.

Grow the plant far from the other Echinacea species so as not to lose its authenticity through seedlings.
