Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Magic' is an ornamental grass with narrow green leaves that change from green-yellow to orange-brown in autumn.

Blooms from greenish white to light brown flower spikes to silver in winter.

The soil must be permeable and remain slightly moist.

The grass blades remain on the plant all winter, cut them in early spring and new greenery will soon grow.

Can be damaged by prolonged severe frost.
