Hypericum calycinum

Hypericum calycinum is a small semi-evergreen dwarf shrub that blooms from late July to September with fragrant canary-yellow flowers. This autumn hay type has blue-green, leathery, ovate leaves, is densely branched and has a broad growing shape, sometimes the branches can hang slightly. Hypericum calycinum likes a sunny or partial shade and does well in almost any soil, it can be pruned radically every year in the spring. This hypericum is very resistant to disease, can also tolerate some sea wind and is air pollution tolerant. It attracts bees and is fairly hardy. Can be used in group planting, as a hedge or ground cover.
