Clematis 'Nelly Moser'

Clematis 'Nelly Moser' is a popular deciduous climbing plant with a sturdy, upright growth. The leaves are composed of glossy, lanceolate, medium green to dark green leaflets. This woodland vine flowers from May to June and again in September with large single lilac-pink flowers with a purple-red center stripe and brown-red stamens. Clematis 'Nelly Moser' likes a position sheltered from wind in partial shade or filtered sunlight and requires a neutral to calcareous, well-drained soil. This repeat-flowering clematis is hardy, attracts butterflies and bees and is suitable for wall plantings, trellis or pergola vegetation.
