Hosta 'Undulata Albomarginata'

Hosta 'undulata albomarginata' is a large and popular variegated heart lily, it has a broadly spreading, clumping habit and attractive, elliptical, medium green leaves, slightly wavy with an ivory white leaf margin. It blooms in July and August with lilac-colored bell-shaped flowers on long upright flower stems. hosta undulata 'albomarginata' prefers a position in partial shade and shade, but also does very well in full sun. It prefers fertile, well-drained and moist soil. This hosta is very hardy, tolerant of sea wind, tolerates air pollution reasonably well and is generally disease free. Often used in partial shade borders, shade borders and Japanese gardens.
