Hosta 'krossa regal' is a popular nigrescens hybrid with a wide-spreading upright, clump-forming habit and attractive, heart-shaped, heavily veined, blue-gray to blue-green leaves. It blooms with lilac bell-shaped flowers from lilac flower buds on long upright flower stems. Hosta 'Krossa Regal' prefers a position in partial shade or sun. It prefers fertile, well-drained and moist soil. This hosta is very hardy, tolerant of sea wind, tolerates air pollution reasonably well and is generally disease free. Often used in partial shade and Japanese gardens.
