Hemerocallis 'Aten'

Hemerocallis 'Aten' is a semi-evergreen to deciduous perennial with a clump-forming habit. This daylily has narrow dark green sword-shaped leaves and blooms in July and August with soft orange to orange-yellow, single, trumpet-shaped flowers with a diameter of 10 to 12 cm. This hemerocallis likes a position in full sun or partial shade and appreciates a well-drained, fertile soil with a neutral pH. During the flowering season, the faded flowers should be removed daily and yellow leaves may be torn off. Hemerocallis 'Aten' is hardy, tolerates fairly drought, tolerant to sea breeze and air pollution and can be used in borders, informal gardens and prairie gardens.
