Geranium 'Philippe Vapelle'

Geranium 'Philippe Vapelle' is an evergreen (hybrid) cranesbill with a wide spreading, bushy habit. The leaves are light green, five-lobed and turn a beautiful red in autumn. This geranium blooms from July to October with reddish-purple flowers that have a decorative dark vein. the plant prefers a position in partial shade or sun, but also in full shade and is satisfied with any well-permeable, not too fertile soil type. In order to extend the flowering period, it is important to regularly remove the dead flowers. Cranesbill is hardy, tolerant to sea wind and resistant to air pollution.
