Clematis mont. 'Mayleen'

Clematis montana 'mayleen', also called forest vine in Dutch, is a small-flowered deciduous climber with a vigorous upright growth. The leaves are lanceolate and serrate, bronze at first, dark green later in the season. This woodland vine flowers in May and June with small single light pink flowers with golden - yellow stamens . Clematis montana 'mayleen' likes a position in partial shade or full sun and requires a neutral to calcareous, well-drained soil. This plant is good to very hardy, attracts butterflies and bees and is suitable for wall planting, trellis or pergola vegetation.
