Campanula glom. 'Superba'

Campanula glomerata 'superba' is a deciduous perennial with an upright clump-forming habit and lanceolate, roughly hairy, medium green and finely serrated leaves. This campanula flowers from June to August with abundant dark purple star-shaped flowers on hairy red flower stems. This campanula likes a position in full sun or partial shade and prefers a well-drained normal to dry soil. The plant is hardy, reasonably to good sea wind tolerant, tolerates air pollution and has virtually no problems with diseases.
