Allium hybr. 'Mount Everest'

Allium stipitatum "mount everest", in Dutch, called white ornamental onion, is a deciduous, upright ornamental onion with small and short grassy, green leaves that have already turned yellow before flowering. This giant ornamental onion owes its name to beautiful, white star-shaped flowers that grow in large spherical flower heads on upright stems. Allium "mount everest" likes a sunny position and a well-drained soil and attracts bees and butterflies. This plant is hardy.
