Salvia nem. 'Blaukönigin'

Salvia nemorosa "blaukönigin", also called forest sage, is a deciduous perennial with a bushy upright shape and medium green to blue green lanceolate aromatic leaves. Forest sage blooms from June to August with purple-blue, violet-colored flower spikes and may be cut back after the first bloom to encourage a second bloom in the fall. The plant likes a position in full sun and does well in almost any well-drained soil type. Salvia nemorosa "blaukönigin" is hardy, fairly drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and some air pollution.
