Leucanthemum 'Silberprinzesschen'

Leucanthemum x superbum 'silberprinzesschen', called giant daisy in Dutch, is a deciduous perennial with a bushy, compact habit and a clump-forming habit. The leaves are narrow, serrated, spatulate and dark green. This large-flowered daisy blooms from June to August with large, single, white flowers with a golden yellow center, later followed by inconspicuous ring-shaped fruits. Leucanthemum x superbum prefers a position in full sun or partial shade. is ph flexible and does well on any permeable soil. The plant is hardy, fairly drought tolerant and tolerates sea wind and air pollution. Leucanthemum x superbum sometimes suffers from mildew, gray mold, white rust and root rot.
