Geranium 'Blue Sunrise'

Geranium 'blue sunrise' is a deciduous (hybrid) cranesbill with a wide-spreading, carpet-forming habit. The leaves are yellow-green, five-lobed and turn a beautiful red in autumn. This geranium blooms from July to October with lilac-blue flowers, which have decorative dark veins. the plant prefers a position in partial shade or sun, but also in full shade and is satisfied with any well-drained, not too fertile soil type. To extend the flowering period, it is important to regularly remove the faded flowers. Cranesbill is hardy, sea wind tolerant and once established also fairly drought tolerant.
