Campanula cochl. 'Blue'

The Campanula cochleariifolia "Blue" or Bellflower is a very popular flowering ground cover. Due to its low growth (max. Height is 15 cm), the plant is often used in the front of (summer) borders or as a joint filler between stones. The plant also thrives in rock gardens. The many small flowers appear in summer, are bell-shaped and have a beautiful soft blue color, against which the white stamens stand out beautifully. A big advantage of the Campanula cochleariifolia "Blue" is that it is very hardy; up to -35 degrees Celsius! In addition, it is appreciated by many that the plant remains green for a relatively long time in the winter.
