Aster n.b. 'Crimson Brocade'

Aster novi belgii "crimson brocade" is an autumn aster with a compact upright shape and strong vigor. The leaves are lanceolate, hairy and dark green in color. This aster blooms in September and October with abundant crimson to pink-red daisy-like flowers with a yellow center. It likes a sunny position and fertile, well-drained soil. It is very hardy, attracts many butterflies, bees and insects and is also tolerant to sea wind and air pollution.
