Sarcococca hookeriana
Sarcococca hookeriana, also called fleshberry, is an evergreen small shrub with a low-growing, bushy and compact shape. The leaves are glossy, dark green, smooth-edged, pointed and elliptical in shape. Fleshberry blooms from December to March with small sweet-smelling creamy white flowers in small axillary umbels. A position in partial shade is recommended as a location, in full sun only possible with an always moist soil. Sarcococca is reasonably to moderately hardy and can use a sheltered position.
