Sarcococca confusa

Sarcococca confusa, also called fleshberry, is an evergreen medium-sized shrub with a bushy compact shape. The leaves are glossy, dark green, slightly wavy, pointed and elliptical in shape. Fleshberry blooms in February and March with small sweet-smelling creamy white flowers in short racemes of 1 to 3 flowers. A position in partial shade is recommended as a location, in full sun only possible with an always moist soil. Sarcococca is hardy, does not require much pruning, is tolerant of sea wind and air pollution.
