Physocarpus opulif. 'Little Devil'

Physocarpus opulifolius "little devil" is a small, deciduous bladderwort. It is a multi-stemmed shrub with an upright and rounded habit, compact and refined. The leaves are three-lobed, toothed, deep wine-red to purple-red, strongly veined. This spirea blooms from June and July with white to pink-white, fragrant flowers in umbels that attract bees and butterflies. Physocarpus opulif. "little devil" likes a position in full sun or partial shade, well-drained, humus-rich soil with a preference for slightly acidic soil. The plant is hardy, sea wind tolerant, air pollution resistant and has few problems with diseases or pests. Due to its compact growth form, "little devil" also requires little maintenance and pruning.
