Euonymus fort. 'Blondy'

Euonymus fortunei 'blondy' is a low-growing, evergreen Cardinal's Hat with a creeping or decumbent form. The leaves are variegated, blue-green with yellow to yellow-white spots in the center. The plant blooms in June and July with inconspicuous green-white flowers. In autumn spherical white fruit pods with an orange seed coat appear. euonymus fortunei 'blondy' is hardy, does well in any type of soil and grows in full sun, partial shade or even shade. It can withstand pruning well, is air pollution tolerant and also resistant to sea wind and can be used as a coastal plant.
