Caryopteris cland. 'White Surprise'

Caryopteris clandonensis 'white surprise' is a small deciduous shrub up to 1 m high and wide, with an upright form and very profusely flowering with sweetly scented dark blue flower panicles. The white variegated lanceolate leaves are also aromatic and smell like mint when touched or rubbed. The size and prolonged flowering from August to October make this caryopteris a special (semi) shrub for the mixed border or the small garden. They are also drought tolerant and suitable for the urban environment.
