Caryopteris cland. 'Summer Sorbet'

Caryopteris clandonensis 'summer sorbet' is a small deciduous shrub up to 1 m high and wide, with an upright form and very profusely flowering with sweetly scented light blue flower panicles. The yellow variegated, lanceolate leaves are also aromatic and smell like mint when touched or rubbed. The size and prolonged flowering from August to October make this caryopteris a special (semi) shrub for the mixed border or small garden, they are also drought tolerant and suitable for the urban environment.
