Caryopteris clandonensis 'Kew Blue', small deciduous shrub up to 1 m high and wide. With an upright shape and very profusely flowering with sweetly scented dark blue flower panicles. The grey-green, lanceolate leaves are also aromatic and smell like mint when touched or rubbed. The size and prolonged flowering from August to October make this caryopteris a special (semi) shrub for the mixed border or the small garden. They are also drought tolerant and suitable for urban environments.
