Phlebodium aureum 'Blue Star'

Phlebodium aureum 'Blue Star' is a strong fern native to the tropical forests of South America.

It is a root fern, with a golden, scaly rhizome.

The wide wavy leaves of this cultivar are intense blue and have elegant finger-shaped branches.

It is kept here as a houseplant at a t° of 16 to 20°C.

In winter, it requires a cooler position of minus +13°C, a lot of light but no direct sunlight, an airy moist potting soil and high humidity.

Water on the side of the plant, not in the center.
