Thymus praecox 'Purple Beauty'

Thymus praecox "Purple Beauty" is called creeping thyme in Dutch. It is an evergreen perennial with a bushy and low habit. The aromatic leaves are dark green and fluffy. This thymus blooms in July and August with a veritable sea of purple-red flowers. The plant likes a position in full sun and a well-drained, not too fertile, fairly dry soil.
